Update on camp reservations:

We are anticipating an awesome camp for summer 2024! After the craziness of the past few years, it is so good to be going “full steam ahead” again.

One important change on reserving space at camp this year…. For all of our camps, there will be a $40, non-refundable deposit for each space you reserve. Your spaces will not be held until this deposit is received by our office.

We’ve found that with no deposit, churches were prone to reserve too many spaces for a variety of reasons. This led to cutting off sign-ups early when we were several hundred OVER our capacity, then winding up several hundred UNDER capacity when camp arrived. This was obviously unacceptable from a financial standpoint, but also meant hundreds of kids and many churches were not able to attend camp when we had plenty of open spots.

Most camps charge $50-$75 per person as a deposit. We are going to try $40/person for 2024 to see if that helps ensure each spot reserved by a church is filled as much as possible. If there is a financial hardship that prevents your church from paying this at one time, we will set up a payment plan to help. Thank you for understanding why this change was so critical for stewarding ministry resources and ensuring the best camp experience possible.
