Summer Camp at Mt. Lebanon
Each summer Mt. Lebanon plays host to thousands of young people who come to spend what for many is one of the most life changing weeks of their lives! Sponsored by the Dallas Baptist Association, summer camps at Mt. Lebanon are a time when youth and children’s ministers and leaders from many area churches bring their groups to camp for joint weeks of inspirational programs, bible study, recreation and Christian fellowship.
Groups plan and program their individual weeks. Mt. Lebanon staff works with each group to provide excellent facilities, food, and activities. Recreation includes sports fields for soccer and softball, courts for basketball and volleyball, swimming pools, climbing wall, challenge course, Alpine tower, zip line, and special activities such as campfires and hay-rides.
The results of summer camps have been phenomenal! Over the years, what kids call “church camp at Mt. Lebanon ” has proven to be a pivotal time for social and spiritual development; a time when lifelong decisions have been made to commit their lives as followers of Christ.
